If you buy an Xbox One X over the next three days, you’ll get a free copy ofState of Decay 2. Then, for three days after that, you’ll get a free copy of Red Dead Redemption.

Yep. Another week, another Xbox One console sale.

“We’ve got two weeks of Xbox One X deals to kick off your 4K Ultra HD summer gaming with State of Decay 2 and Red Dead Redemption,” Microsoft’s Mike Nelson explains. “From May 27 through June 2, you’ll get a copy of State of Decay 2 with your Xbox One X purchase. And from June 3 through June 9, you’ll get a copy of Red Dead Redemption with your Xbox One X purchase.”

State of Decay 2 is the recently-released and well-received Xbox Play Anywhere title in which you try to survive zombies in an open, post-apocalyptic world. It provides 4K Ultra HD and HDR graphics on Xbox One X, for which it was “specially enhanced with higher resolutions, steadier framerates, and better effects.”

Red Dead Redemption isn’t a new title, but it was recently enhanced with 4K ultra HD graphics for the Xbox One X. Red Dead Redemption might be seen as a Wild West alternative to State of Decay 2, I guess.
