At a virtual Galaxy Unpacked event today, Samsung announced two new members of its Galaxy Book PC lineup with Pro branding.

“We at Samsung have pioneered countless exciting mobile experiences – new hardware, software, and new ways to help you stay connected and give you the freedom to live your life to the fullest,” Samsung Electronics president Dr. TM Roh said. “The new Galaxy Book Pro series offers true mobile computing for the connected world, enabling ultra-light, yet mighty portability, boundless connectivity, and a window into your wider Galaxy ecosystem.”

There are two new models, the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro, which is a traditional clamshell laptop, and the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360, which is a convertible PC. Both are powered by 11th-generation Intel Core processors and are Evo-certified. But the most impressive fact, perhaps, is how lightweight each of these PCs is. The Galaxy Book Pro starts at just 2.3 pounds with a 13.3-inch display, while the 15-inch version is only 3.06 pounds.

The Galaxy Book Pro and Pro 360 are both available for preorder today and will ship on May 14. The Galaxy Book Pro 13 starts at $999.99, while the 15-inch version starts at $1,099.99. The Galaxy Book Pro 360 13  starts at $1,199.99, and the Galaxy Book Pro 360 15 starts at $1,299.99.
