Microsoft has teamed up with IGN to hold the [email protected] showcase on July 11. Following a positively received Xbox Games Showcase earlier this month, the company promises “more trailers, announcements, and gameplay” of upcoming [email protected] games.

July 11 will also mark the beginning of [email protected]’s annual Summer Game Demo Fest, which will let gamers try demos of upcoming indie games. “Just like last year’s Summer Game Fest Demo event, you’ll be able to download and play these in the comfort of your own home between July 11 and July 17,” the Xbox team said today.

The [email protected] showcase will kick off at 10 AM PST, and it will be streamed live on the IGN YouTube and Twitch channels. Microsoft plans to share more about what to expect on Xbox Wire and IGN ahead of the event.

During its Xbox Games Showcase Extended last week, Microsoft already revealed 10 [email protected] games that will come to Game Pass on their launch day. The company also put the spotlight on 11 games coming from its new [email protected] Developer Accelerator Program that launched earlier this year to support games from underrepresented creators.

Microsoft’s [email protected] was originally announced in 2013 ahead of the release of the Xbox One, and the program is still going strong 10 years later. Following its Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft said that it has paid out over $4 billion to over 5,000 creators in over 100 countries.
