LG is expected to officially announce its next flagship, the V40 ThinQ, on October 3rd. The device, like every other smartphone coming out this year, has been leaked multiple times. And to put an end to all the leaks, LG Korea today confirmed the V40 ThinQ, giving us our first, official look at the device.

As the leaks promised, LG’s V40 ThinQ comes with five cameras — three on the back, and two on the front. It’s not clear exactly how LG is using the additional cameras on the back and front, though they will likely have to do with some new depth effects. The additional camera on the front is expected to provide improved face unlocking.

LG isn’t the first company to introduce a phone with three rear cameras — Samsung launched a similar phone with a triple-camera setup on the back earlier this month, for example.

The company has even released a teaser video, which gives us a closer look at the device. It doesn’t reveal much about the device, though:

LG is expected to include a Snapdragon 845 processor and a Quad DAC on the V40 ThinQ. The device will have a 6.4-inch display, which is slightly bigger than the V30, and it will be available in Platinum Gray, Carmine Red, and Moroccan Blue colors.
