Google is finally opening up sales of its Clips camera. The gadget, first introduced back in October of last year, is available in the United States from the Google Store, Best Buy, B&H, and Verizon.

Google Clips is designed to take pictures of the best moments in your life, without needing you to take your phone out and letting you enjoy the moment instead. The device will automatically capture clips of these moments, and it is also able to identify people in your life and identify the individuals who you may want to capture more than others.

Privacy will obviously be a big concern for many potential buyers of Clips, and Google says none of your pictures or videos leaves the device unless you decide to share them with someone or back them up on Google Photos. The device is powered by on-device machine learning, so all the intelligent computing things happen on the local chip instead of Google’s cloud. The device also features an indicator that informs people around you when it’s recording a clip or taking a picture.

But here’s the big bummer: it apparently doesn’t record sound for your clips. Yes, no kidding.
