Google’s AI-powered Duplex feature is coming to more states in the United States. The company first started testing the new technology back in October of last year with users in New York, Atlanta, Phoenix, and San Francisco Bay Area.

It’s now making the feature available in 43 states for Pixel device owners.

Google Duplex, for those unfamiliar, is an AI-powered feature on Assistant that allows the Assistant to make reservations on your behalf. The feature works by automatically calling up a restaurant, and making a booking for you, all while talking naturally like an actual human. You just need to ask the Assistant to make a reservation for you, and it will take care of the rest.

With the latest expansion, Duplex is now available in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Google is also planning to bring Duplex to more devices. Over the next few weeks, Google plans to make the feature available on more, non-Pixel Android devices, as well as iOS devices.
