Amazon today announced new Fire HD 8, Fire HD 8 Plus, and Fire HD 8 Kids Edition tablets that will ship in early June.

For only $20 more, the Fire HD 8 Plus packs even more power with 50% more RAM, hassle-free wireless charging, and six months of Kindle Unlimited included. With access to millions of movies, TV shows, books, songs, magazines, Alexa, and more—Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 8 Plus are the perfect tablets for entertainment.”

Fire HD 8. The new Fire HD 8 features an 8-inch 1280 x 800 display with faster performance, twice the storage, and longer battery life than its predecessor. This premium model offers an enhanced experience with 50 percent more RAM, wireless charging capabilities, an included 9-watt power adapter, a new slate color, and for a limited time, six months of Kindle Unlimited. The Fire HD 8 Plus starts at $109.99, comes in the same colors as the Fire HD 8 plus a new slate color, and is available for pre-order today. It also ships on June 3. at and. The new Fire HD 8 Kids Edition is available for pre-order today for $139.99 and will begin shipping on June 3.
